Written like an old man shaking his fist at a cloud.
I don't see analysis and studies backing anything he says up. I don't see reporting of practical complaints that happen from regular riders.
Hell I remember how much wheel alignment I needed to keep my rim breaks working vs a disk.

Prior to injuring my spine two years ago I used to really enjoy riding my bike with disc brakes -- the difference in the wet compared to its predecessor with rim brakes was very noticeable. Rim brakes really do pick up a lot of gunk from the road. Disc brakes don't. Much nicer, better design.
The same thing has happened with cars and performance. Stuff gets heavier, more expensive, and more complicated, and yet we manage to squeeze greater performance and efficiency out of less displacement. And then there's the eye watering power that comes from marrying this kind of tech to a big V8.
