Cool usage of AI to auto-generate missing wikipedia pages for women of science.
It would be wonderful to use this for genes, proteins, chemical compounds, etc, whose properties are explored and discussed in disparate publications and difficult to synthesize in any thorough manner by humans.
For Swedish Wikipedia, there’s a bot that makes short articles for all geographic locations automatically.
Only problem is that there’s so many of them that they had to make a special version of “Random article”, that does not include geographic ones... it’s such a large part of the whole encyclopedia, that it messes with the distribution of data instead. Tricky problem.
