In regards to the wonder mechanic, that's just completely wrong. You get a 1:1 conversion of hammer input to gold if you don't complete the wonder.[1] Compare this to the usual 1:4 conversion if you just use the city to produce gold.
Though back when I had that password my account was hacked. I'd wager this is just Gmail address+password combos collected from other leaks (read: not from Google). Really this just seems to be an attempt at sensationalizing.
The premise seems really intriguing, essentially Snapchat with an incentive to keep the interaction going. But Facebook seems to be deliberately hindering their own viral growth, because I can't download the app: http://i.imgur.com/UAlGmV9.png - presumably Europe doesn't matter?
Valve has solved this by crowd-sourcing cosmetic items through the community. In Team Fortress 2 (which uses the same kind of skin/item system as Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive) 90% of the items have come from the community, who then also get to share in the profits [1].
