This great article demonstrates why folks with chronic illness need to take charge of their situation, do their own due diligence, and carefully document their symptoms and possible causes. All too often, folks lump all their problem on doctors, and take no personal responsibility, and that can be a fatal decision, because doctors are overworked and overwhelmed. Even if you don’t have medical training, you have motivation and time, and sometimes that makes all the difference in the world.
