Just going to say it. "GOOD!"
It's great--as long as one finds the direction agreeable.
But all these roads lead to Niemöller.

Bad. Censorship by big tech. Just like China.
Maybe it only works for some articles? Or certain profiles? This article pops up first in the results if I search its title verbatim.

Edit: I see that this only applies to some articles, as mentioned later in the piece. The example they cite is coronavirus related. I wonder if they are running afoul of Google's coronavirus disinformation-prevention efforts.

This is expected of Google. People have been talking about this for years; they were labeled conspiracy theorists. Same with social media in general. Censorship? Shadow banning? Nah, you're crazy bro! Now it's being done openly - with PR language, of course, that is designed to manipulate the public's perception of censorship.
These are private companies. They're in their legal right to censor whoever they want. However, what throws me off is when these very same companies preach freedom, protecting democracy, and drum roll....freedom of speech.
They don't believe in any of those values. They work every day to subvert them.

Of course they do. Google results are _massively_ censored. Entire sites are not listed there, even if searching for their name or domain.
It's good that this is being talked about, but at this point everyone should know that google results are mostly about steering you into their belief systems if the search term have even the slightest political tint. Bing is much better for being neutral, even if not always for the quality of the results themselves.
