This article is about Kate Crawford‘s new book Atlas of AI. So far, an excellent read that has shifted my viewpoint a bit. She writes about how AI is physically embodied in the world.
This again. I'm learning to notice that someone important wants to kill a tech by the power consumption point coming up in conjunction with it.

You caught me. I didn't realize that the author having misused this above expression would point to how big a piece of trash the rest of the article would be. Had I done my due diligence, I wouldn't even have bothered commenting.
