It depends what they are talking about? If they are talking about stocks, it could be to make money in the market. The market is very emotional.
Depends. Companies with stronger financial tend to less affected to sentiment. But to beat the market, sentiment is the key that makes the difference in the equation.
Consider cases such as: Feedback, Suggestion, Customer Review, Stock Analysis, etc.
