We have had challenges (no pun intended) with our space program as well and there was gross negligence.

and then there were numerous experiments on Americans by the government including releasing chemical weapons, viruses and biological weapons and agents (aka germ warfare) in the NY Subway, San Francisco and States like Minnesota and Florida.
