It seems that psychopaths run some of these organizations am I missing something?
Psychopaths run many of the world's governments, too. It's exceedingly unlikely we could have ever reached the current state of affairs if our "leaders" were not in collusion with the actual "powers-that-be" (giant corporations).
Yes, if you value stock price over consequences for the rest of the world, having a psychopath as CEO seems like a fitting choice.

Out there theory, extra fibre in our diets is good, it seems to reduce cancer. Inert fibre like micro plastics should be good.
The only problem is in reality we are getting none. We possibly should introduce it. I'm not saying to actually do it yet. But it should be studied at least.
