As a Russian, it is hard for me to find those kinds of repos. Those who think Russia should be cut off from the internet don't realize how this will affect Kremlin propaganda and what could result in 10 years from now.

Isolation will unleash a terrible beast that will not stop until it has wiped out half of Europe. Take a look what post-WW1 isolation did to Germany, for example.

Russia needs more Internet access, not less, it helps to fight the kremlin propaganda inside Russia.

Just like a knife, this tool can be used for many purposes - some of which are good, some of which are evil.

I agree that blocking access to a news website would not be a good idea.

But protecting against Russian hackers? Good idea.

Anything in-between is arguable.

...because Russian hackers wouldn't think to come from IPs outside of Russia.

No security measure guarantees full security. They're all just obstacles.
