I remember back in college (2010s) part of what made Macbooks so cool were their small chargers and magsafe connector. I had no clue that inside was an engineering marvel itself.
As usual there's a jab at the end about Apple's pricing model but other than that I really appreciated how in-depth and understandable the article was. Especially as a laymen to electrical engineering.

It'd be interesting to see how the modern charges fare and a comparison to something like an Anker Nano II instead of just cheap ones which turn out to have cheaper out as expected.
In regards to the cable I'm so glad the MagSafe 3 cable is braided instead of whatever fraying and/or discoloring plastic they normally go for. Not as glad about said cable being $49 but on the flip side it's also completely optional as it supports USB C charging and the charger it ships with is USB C ended as well.
