So FAANG would really become MAMA?
Imagine a Gamepass and Netflix bundle... games and movies under on subscription. Could also set up Microsoft nicely to be a metaverse play with a mix of gaming and traditional media.
Although come to think of it, maybe it would make more sense for MSFT to make a bid for Warner Bros. Discovery? Cheaper valuation, and you get DC + Harry Potter properties which would be huge as properties to be leveraged in gaming and the upcoming VR metaverse.

While we're throwing ideas out there - why doesn't Microsoft just take a huge swing to try and buy Disney?
They would instantly cement themselves with onbtaining get one of the world's largest media conglomerates with an extensive library of beloved IP, and they could leverage all of that content in movies, gaming, and the metaverse like you mentioned.

Microsoft is the only major cloud provider without a video service. Amazon has Prime Video and Google has YouTube.
Very good point.
Phase one: The Pump
Stay tuned for phase two.
Stay tuned for phase two.
Can't wait to watch the Making of Windows 95 docuseries
"Netflix lost 2% in streaming video market share in the U.S. in Q2, according to JustWatch, and now accounts for 21% of the domestic streaming market. Amazon gained 1% during the same quarter, reaching a market share of 20%." [0]
So as you can see, Netflix is declining and if this continues it could likely be Microsoft® Netflix® soon if they are still are unable to improve their numbers, alongside with fierce competition with Apple TV, Disney+, YouTube, HBO, Hulu, etc.
