OK, random apps wished into existence and can't scale or integrate.

But what if interfaces are carefully specced, tests built and then the vibed into a black box ?

By definition if you are "vibe coding" your feet are off the ground. Keep your feet on the ground and use AI assistants and you'll be find. The key thing is managing your emotions and not letting yourself get giddy.

Vibe coding… homeopathy for wannabe developers. How long until CTOs start adopting the same strategy for highly critical applications? Will they trust developers, or will they trust the speed of AI? Time is money, it’s only a matter of time before every human application is evaluated, its performance measured, and its correctness weighed against speed.
