Am I too cynical for always assuming that any videos, articles etc. of someone "winning" big at something is just an ad?
Nope, they ARE all faked ads. I'm really not sure why anyone would think otherwise. The only exception being the CS gambling sites which turned out to be owned by the guys making videos/streams showcasing them "winning" (with fudged probabilities it tuened out).

Polymarket and Kalshi are two of my greatest inventions made to destroy the USA.
Just wait till Jorp comes out.

Aren’t they CFTC regulated? If so, it’s jail time!

Extremely Unlikely.
Don Trump Jr is both an investor in, and strategic advisor to Polymarket.
The oligarchy will protect itself.

So corrupt!
Today I tried to make a move there, but I ended up stopping halfway. There are some types of, let’s say, bets there that are somewhat ridiculous. This market should be a bit more regulated and have some common sense. Unfortunately, I’m seeing betting houses being more sensible than the new model of prediction markets. And it’s a bit strange to say that.
