Reminds me of the video game Everything. Its a really cool game where you explore the various scales of the universe. It has its quirks (somewhat phoned in graphics like animals walking) but the concept and execution are great IMO, would love a sequel. Also bonus points for featuring Alan watts as a core character.

I always figured that the DC area was wealthy due to mostly political corruption and creating government contracts that enlist a 30 person team over 5 years to design a toilet seat for a plane that will be used twice. I didn't know it was this mecha of tech expertise and problem solving.

I always need to remind people when this book comes up: If you like Neuromancer, you must play the game Soma.

I picked up Neuromancer after playing Soma and finding it to be the most incredible story driven game I've ever played and wanting to devour all it's influences, and Gibson was certainly an influence.

Don't read about it, don't look at the plot, just start playing the game and at least make it to when you meet the lady.
