Why are you OK with one of the world's largest marketplaces banning children's books while also allowing the sale of stuff like the Anarchist's Cookbook and all the ingredients to make a nail bomb?
In a way, it's absolutely hilarious. The fact that people were so outraged by this (which was a bait attempt at a meme a rational person could see a mile away) shows they're willing to be controlled by the very people they hate.
Don't know if that's the best analogy. Most Electron application's performances are "good enough"; there's still room for improvement, but it's not as important as performance in video games.

Is there definitive proof that all of the Google stuff is really out of a naked Chromium install? I remember reading stuff about it being impossible to wholly untangle Google's stuff from it.
It's seriously as arbitrary as calling oneself a "software engineer" when all one is doing is maintaining WordPress instances. I've seen resumes of those only 2 years out of a defunct coding bootcamp label themselves senior.
