Note that this quite often results in round robin between the two DNS servers, not a primary and fallback as intended.

I still remember connecting two MS-DOS computers together with a parallel cable, that was the easiest way to do "large" file transfers there for a while (used a program called LapLink, iirc)...

After reading his three part multi-month series about how he can't set up a firewall, I don't think this guy is probably someone who should be providing any useful information on how to use the internet (or anything attached to it).
