I trust Malone way more. Fauzi has vested interest in continuing COVID measures. Check out his pay (higher than western leaders in the world). Check also his stock holdings. Still Fauzi has way more credibility than the entire WHO which has been a laughing stock for the past 2 years.

I think they can do simulation and then map result against actual observations. This would be very similar to "climate science" now (albeit at a smaller scale) where a lot of conclusions are done via projections of years in advances within their simulated earths.

Currently, worldwide is still at "promoting vaccines at all cost because Covid is worse than Black Death". So doubt these research results would be freely allowed to get published or supported. China now only doing trials on mRNA (many countries stopped using their non-mRNA vaccines). India hasn't fully vaccinated their people yet. Large part of Africa is even worst situation. So at least 2-3 billions people havn't exposed fully to mRNA benefits or negative effects. Take dengue vaccine that was shelved in Philipines which requires multi years to see its side effects. We are now just entering year 2 or mRNA. Give it 10 years to know "acceptably" mRNA vaccine increases unnecessary risks of heart-related problems. If you know personally doctors working in vaccines research field you probably will know the negatives better. Many doctors scared to even mentioned these negatives for fear of retaliations (this is worlwide phenomena right now). There is a reason FDA needs 75 years to disclose mRNA vaccine related papers. There is also a reason why all statistics on negatives effect of vaccines is so few. Try mention any of those on Youtube or Facebook now and you'll almost instantly get retaliation as anti-vaxxers.

1984 got it more correct. Take sometime to read or watch current China related stuff. It makes whatever we think oppressions done by western countries look pedantic. Huxley birth control might also play out in China if birth rate there still dropping way below what the state wants of 3 at the moment. Personally I feel, if the world was dominated by mainland Chinese and their influences or direct supremacy in some kind of marvel multiverse, then Huxley-Orwell fictions might be "unfictionized" there.

Governments and sponsoring companies should pay for it. The rest of us a presenters and private inviduals should get it free. Knowledge should be free flow not at every steps being VAT-ed.

I was reading up a lot of reviews on these alder lake, either those reviewers are paid or simply Intel fanboy, they all seems to downplay the power consumption and giving Intel glowing reviews (and quickly skim over power issue). I wouls year end and see how 13th vs Ryzen 4 will battle out.

Technically we can view entire Youtube as being mysogynist. If she is an American she will have a very strong case to bring this lawsuit on (possibly class action lawsuit). I recalled there was a case regarding women showing topless and won (if any legal expert here can chime in). It only take a cursory search to show that Youtube showing men's nipples without demonetization while a simple cardboard of female equivalent getting "women-hate" from Youtube.

Depends. Some judges can be threaten. This had happened many times and quite obvious during 2020 riots in America and elections. Also, the keys to judicial "edicts" lie at the prosecutors. If you have low quality prosecutors or death-targeted prosecutors' family members, then judicial can't funxtion properly. Look up how Scott Peterson got convicted purely on circumstancial proof including "he doesn't act the way we expected him to". I do expect assassinations of judges will be more common in decades to come. It is important congress to ensure judges have good statistic of being punished if misconduct.

Bollywood and Nigeria as well. Those 2 countries have very thriving movie industries. They are lacking Korean slickness at the moment, but story-wise and cultural contents are quite refreshing. With Netflix seeding many aspiring directors with good plots, I think it will be great to see how competitive Chinese moviemakers are. I say the more the merrier even if some of those are heavy influenced by government propaganda (ahem....Fight Club China Director's cut)

They can only stay rich if we waste and reconsume again and again. That is how ads industries thrive. Apple and Samsung are what are today because we overbought their product. Almost everyone I know at least got 3+ phones (1 current 2 in the drawers). Even got one with 15+ phones (collection he said). As long as we behave to reward companies that do this, we will continuously getting new companies or existing companies adopting this strategy. I don't see "treehuggers" using antiquated Nokia phones and routinely seen many of my environmentally conscious frens having new iphones EVERY 2 years even if their old phones are working fine and they can easily go into a cheap repair shop to change the battery. As for security reasons, yeah, "frens" actually pasting post-it passwords and no idea what is yubi keys and never bother doing 2FA.

Imagine you are limited to only pen and paper and need to communicate with another using written Chinese. Then even though what you convey will be exactly same meaning and characters count, simplified will consumed less effort (less ink and paper as well) to deliver equivalent same message in Chinese Traditional. From language studies perspective they view a token as basic unit of information, but in engineering and practicality, OP ideas of pixel measurement would be better. You can't transmit information to humans using "token" but displayed form via pixels. As for Simplified Chinese is much harder to learn, let just say Mao had proven you wrong with vast majority Chinese (outside of China) learning Simplified form much faster and less effort than Traditional form. Even Taiwanese using simplified form to describe the name "tai" in Taiwan.

I think secretly they are aiming for the digital currency aspect of blockchain, e.g. Bitcoin but couldn't understand how it works as MBA schools havn't mint out bitcoin graduates yet. Maybe in abother 10 years.

DOJ is very bias depending on which party is in power with exception during Trump years. Both Google and FB/Meta were instrumental in assisting Biden, I don't expect DOJ would be doing much.

Not only that, their visa cancellation has nothing to do with for the benefits of the people. It is when media highlights his non vax status, Aus government quickly backtrack (elections coming) and specifically cancel the visa. Basically instead of behaving like a proper beauracrats, they temporary turn into CCP China. Imagine if it is not Djokovic, and media never highlighted it, and unfected with Spanish+Mersa flu. Man...Aus people should have a better government. SG is right above there can give a lot of good pointers.

Djokovic denied is expected. What I didn't expect is Aus government is this messy with only 20mils (and maybe a fraction of that since this is Melbourne). If they didn't have mining boom and cash strap, I shudder to think how their government can function properly.

Like our FISA? Mind you this Aus court didn't address to what extend the limits can apply. Read their laws. Basically, their FM can cancel for ANY reasons valid or not is not questionable. Court only uphold what is the law never address the limits of it. They have less people than ours, theirs can operate fairly quickly plus this is high profile case.
