I think that the main advantage of using Colemak over QWERTY is to reduce pain and effort.

I personally pretty much ditched QWERTY for now (I use it only on my phone).

But I think it's possible to maintain 2 layouts in your muscle memory

if so, it doesn't mean you need to rewrite anything most of the times I guess, but just replace a piece
