I have built :

- a GUI terminal-based Markdown previewer called "leaf": https://github.com/RivoLink/leaf

- and a lightweight AI automation framework called "flow": https://github.com/RivoLink/flow

What do you think about this Markdown viewer : https://github.com/RivoLink/leaf ?

Maybe you'd be interested in leaf (https://github.com/RivoLink/leaf). It works on Windows and runs directly in the terminal.

I use Claude Code, flow for reusable skills/prompts, and leaf for reading Markdown comfortably in the terminal.

- Claude Code

- flow: https://github.com/RivoLink/flow

- leaf: https://github.com/RivoLink/leaf

- GNOME Terminal

It's a pretty terminal-first workflow.

That's an interesting project. I'll think about your suggestion, thanks.

And thanks for the honest feedback on the article too.

You're right. I used glow before creating leaf, and the more I used it, the more I found myself wanting features like a persistent TOC, search, watch mode, and mouse support.

That led me to build leaf as a more GUI-like Markdown reader for the terminal.

Recently, an inline mode (leaf --inline) was added for users who prefer the simpler glow-style experience.

leaf is a terminal Markdown previewer that brings a more GUI-like reading experience directly to the command line.

It supports navigation, search, themes, watch mode, syntax highlighting, and more.
