You are correct so let's talk about how there PCF solution is deprecated, and how they were still using a deprecated container management solution instead of kubernetes, and how if you use Java the for you to use liberty build packs, and how they push XP and TDD practices from he garage yet many of their consultants don't practice what they preach.
And even if he misread what actually happened, the point was young people get serious consequences quite often. Why should Zuckerberg be viewed any differently? Either change the system to judge younger people especially minors less harsh or be consistent.
All depends on the person for which works best. I think we should still focus more on changing the current University education system, but I get that Community College is the better alternative price and time wise. One of my siblings went that route and honestly it worked wonders for them so far. But, I also like what states like Louisiana, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and probably other states are doing by paying University tuition for students that do average in high school.
Personally, I considered the community college route and I'm glad I didn't, all 4 years of university provided relationships that I have leaned on and have paid off in more ways than I could have ever imagined. And this is coming from a kid that came from basically nothing and two parents with nothing more than high school diplomas.
I think to an American the switch seems hard, but to say a British person or even Scandinavian person the switch seems rather easy. Caring about being energy efficient is backed into their culture. Far less use of dryers, laws around usage of heating systems, country wide recycling and reduce waste initiative, majority smaller fuel efficient cars, the list goes on and they still have their problems. Countries like these making the switch to more electric cars would help drive a lot of the global market.

While nice, that's a pretty disconnected perspective from society. Sports and the industries around them are so big for a reason vs say major league programming.

Depends on the company lol. Mine prefers responsiveness over technical contributions, even though we are a department that plans, builds, and implements infrastructure systems.
