FileRun looks promising. It looks like I'd have to develop the composite object feature, but there's enough already here to make that a less-time consuming task.

NSL = A national security letter (NSL) is an administrative subpoena issued by the United States federal government to gather information for national security purposes. NSLs do not require prior approval from a judge.
This is all fine and dandy, until the software is hacked and the swarming boats turn on the ship they were protecting. I don't trust the US military with making such a technology.
So now who do you trust? This guy (whom I know nothing about) or the several media articles (whose writers and sources I know nothing about)?
This is the problem with how news is delivered in our age. Back in the day, you primarily just knew the news of your town, and to verify the claims you could walk over to the subjects and ask them.
It's a bit early for Tim to be dropping hints about the Apple Car. I'm afraid interest will die down after waiting for a couple years, while expectations will become unreasonable.
