I’d think you’d want the VOCs to be captured by something, rather than floating around in the air where you could breathe them in. Combined with a HEPA filter in the air circulation system, this should be a good solution.

Similar reasons to why they cancelled Jon Stewart’s show (which is also mentioned by the article). Slow horses doesn’t really have the same sensitivity - it’s a comedy, which gives it some cover.
Yeah, there are probably a few multimillion dollar app ideas in here, but of insufficient complexity or lowbrow-ness for the typical HN reader (myself included). The nano-banana template idea or the Q&A Walkman, for example.
Isn’t one of the main functions of the brain / nervous system to “filter” noisy sensory input data to provide a coherent “signal” to perception? Perhaps a smaller or more specialized model could do that if we ended up packing the “skin” of the humanoid with various sensors.
