The fear of being interrupted at the wrong time with this method would drive me crazy. For me, focusing by task instead of time works better. (also a big task divided into smaller tasks)
not being able to access desktop features on mobile. I don't expect these features by default but having the option would be nice; especially given that the phones have more than enough RAM for any of these features.
a day or two means nothing. you can follow-up in about a week. In the mean time, talking to more VCs really helps both the outcome of each conversation and the founders' propensity to obsess over a specific conversation
Hi, I have a background in strategy and finance and used to work at an agriculture firm. I joined a very technical AI startup as a COO last year and I still have a ton to learn about the industry. And it's different from a PM role but a few things that have been helpful for me:
-Learning the jargon: Youtube videos from developer/creators in the field help a lot.
-Forums (you're already here; so, great!)
-Asking our developers to explain me thing like a child+getting their opinion on almost everything
-LLMs help a ton (you can even send screenshots of code and ask what it means/does)
I think that the opposite is also very plausible. I've seen numerous startups take a big company's product unrefined product and quickly turn it into something better.
Have you noticed whether this correlates more with load (e.g. outages / announcements) than actual time of day? Curious if anyone has tried controlled comparisons.
I've observed that people with ADHD often find it very natural to meditate, in that refocusing is something the ADHD brain is more used to than the neurotypical brain.
For anyone who’s already running this locally: what’s the simplest setup right now (tooling + quant format)? If you have a working command, would love to see it.
