Neat! I found TextEdit to be seriously lacking. The cross platform WYSIWYG editor landscape is very.. weak. Options are: Electron app, and even then sometimes there's game breaking bugs. Obsidian just as a text editor would be fantastic (the best WYSIWYG editor), but the flow to drag a file into the vault to manipulate it is cumbersome.

I wonder if this is more faux-scarcity-marketing or there's actual risk with not being careful with their projections here.

It's good, better than Opus xhigh, but honestly in most cases I can get 'good enough' just with Opus and some iteration. Even Opus 4.7 usually pushed me along toward getting a deliverable out the door. I constantly have 20-30% usage left for all of 5 hour windows and weekly. I'm content to stay on Opus and try codex until Fable comes back.

I've seen this done for a few years (2-3?) but only in a crockpot sized container, honestly still tasted alright. Not sure I'd have a full bowl of stew 52 but seems [great] for fermenty-salty dipping sauce like saltwater.

Great article, your site is super easy to read.

Moonlander's build quality leaves a lot to be desired for IMO. Tenting only available for biggest hand size config, thumb clusters fly off, ports struggle after a few years of taking care of it.

I like RealForce 55G (non-variable) the most, or really any full-sized-boring-keyboard with any amount of tactility (even the MS Ergo). Buckling springs would be great if they weren't super loud. HHKB is pretty rough for the shoulders, it's best use is on a shelf visible from your webcam.

Sometimes watermarking is okay. I do think this just defines a different baseline, and using skills that capture more of a 'feel' users desire usually benefits them more. To me this seems like a tool to remove watermarking (usually to pass something off as not AI generated), so I agree with you here random__duck

I seldom see visibility for any releases in popular browsers. The only time I notice any is if I don't use it for years, then get handed a work laptop that uses X browser. It's at least cool to see these docs even if I likely won't ever see/appreciate the element in use.
