They didn't really become a global power until recently. Even during my youth in the 2000's it was 'China is rising', 75 years ago they were extremely poor, mostly agrarian and recovering from decades of war and revolution. 2026 China is a completely different beast.
debugging code. I had some issue so I create a plan to root cause that would run the code, change some functions or variables and run again until we get a confirmed answer.
I just work up to that very workflow this morning. I ran last night and finished at around 3am with ~200k tokens spent. Fixed the issue and created a follow up doc for things that it could not verify.
I worked for Coinbase. Brian won't even speak more to this to the company. He led by twitter post. I was there for 4 years (thanks to a great manager) but Brian was one of the worst leaders I've ever experienced.
How would cyber/AI security survive in a world where AI can do software development? I'm not a LLM bull but I am a security engineer and it's already very good, I don't see how this field could possibly continue if it advances enough to destroy dev jobs.
That markets been slaughtered for a while. Pretty much every big tech company has built up strong internal security teams and automated as much as possible. Look up what happened to NCC Group post Matasano acquisitions, I joined within a year of the isec/matasano/intrepedus acquisitions and saw a slow ride down. After 5 years the rate was still $2500 a day and everyone with real talent left to internal teams for much much higher pay. NCC Group is now a scan shop operating out of the phillipines, I still have one friend that works there from the isec days! The exception being some leet places like Trail-Of-Bits.
I'm sorry but I'm big into crypto and have never seen a contract like that deployed in the wild.
And I actually use crypto for payments more than most people. I used some just last week to buy a replica rolex from a chinese dealer because they gave a better price than credit cards.
