Not just consistency, but customer service. It's gone down a bit in recent years, but Amazon is still amazing at it. I can actually chat with someone, almost instantly, if I'm having a problem. Having had to deal with flight delays on American Airlines recently, it's insane how much of a difference there is.

Having had to get a passport recently, yes. At least better in the sense that you are actually receiving a service you've paid for.

It is virtually impossible to get an appointment at the passport office in the US right now. Not a local passport office, ANY passport office. There were people outside the one I went to offering a Nintendo Switch to people to trade for a time slot. The shortest wait time I had on the phone was three hours, and I called one minute after they opened.

Yeah, that's my issue. I have a pair of Anker in-ears (Liberty Pro 2) for working out and they're great for that. When it comes to being at my desk during work, seamless switching is what I need.

Good to know! However, I already have a pair of wireless earbuds for working out. I'm in the market for a pair of over-ear headphones with these feature.

If the tech exists for in-ears though, hopefully it will/does exist in over-ear.

Right. Lots of stuff works with non-Mac hardware. Lots of stuff doesn't work with Mac hardware. My laptop is from my job (MBP), and I have an iPhone to keep in sync with my wife. Hence my specific question.

For me, the ability to switch between audio on all my devices instantly. Listening on my mac, answer a call on my iPhone automatically. I realize this is a niche use case, but would be really nice for me.

The ability to just take them off and have them pause is icing on the cake as well.

If other headphones have these features, I'm open to them.

Honest question:

Can I be listening to music on my MBP and answer a call with them on my iPhone seamlessly?

PopSocket has already confirmed they're working on something. This will be awesome for those of us who don't use wireless charging because of our popsockets.

> you can attach and remove the phone from a magnetic charger with one hand and without looking / in the dark.

You can't do that with the cable?

An X5 is a pretty high-end luxury car.

Have you tried with an iPhone? Legit curious as I'm about to switch from a Pixel 2XL. I didn't think I'd like the giant trackpad on my MBP, but Apple does a good job with rejection about 99.9% of the time.

Even if that was a viable option, where would people go?

I would love this if I could collapse the loop. I hate that I can't put my phone down flat on my desk.
