are you the three.js "maintainer" ?
My code breaks every time I update three.js I would be fine with that if the release notes would point that out directly. It's really a nice library but it would be great if he handled the project a little bit more "enterprisey"
I've started playing flag football after playing football 10 years ago. I've stopped playing football because I tore my ACL in both of my knees.
Beeing a defensive end / outside linebacker I can say that the bigger positions don't really translate to flag football. You can't really block other people without real contact. We are playing 5 on 5 - but I can't imagine how contact less football would work 11 on 11.
I enjoy playing some flag football, because it's a nice workout and some of the aspects of football are in (different coverages, beating routes...)
I have a friend with pretty big health problems (gout and other problems).
I don't know if it is because of gout or any other disease, but he says he shouldn't drink acidic drinks. He cut Coca Cola and is drinking now Red Bull Cola.
I am testing a Samsung 700t (pretty much the same form factor) and it's horrible. The keyboard is nice, but the big problem is that it's very unstable. It's always dropping back. Especially if you are trying to use the touch screen. I had to tape the pen into it's closure otherwise it fell off the whole time.
When I've tried to update the device to Windows 8.1 the WLAN driver refused to work and I had to update it from another computer.
Using it as a tablet is okay, but it's very heavy and big.
I hope the Surface Pro is better - but the Samsung is really underwhelming. I'd rather buy a small desktop or a tablet.
That's strange the only browser I got problems with downloading files is Chrome. Sometimes it takes a long time between clicking the download and seeing any visual clue from chrome that it started the download.
I wonder how accurate this chart is. The last time we really wanted to port something from .net to mono (3 - 4 years ago) windows forms was supported, but it was a mess. It worked 90% - but the 10% never got fixed. Problems popped up in the strangest places (rounding of numbers). Impressive as a proof of concept, but we've stopped trying to support mono and never looked back.
Gnome3 is a major update of Gnome2. They've replaced many aging libraries with their new counterparts. It includes 3d graphics (tasteful in my opinion), have dynamic workspaces and I really like the function when you're pushing the super key (windows key). The most important function is that it hardly gets in my way and I had to install less things to get the functions I really like (super - start typing to start an application, transparency...). I had to install GnomeDo and configure Compiz Fusion to get this in Gnome2 (and I still couldn't use super alone for this function). With GNOME3 I hardly every click with the mouse to start an application. I can't say anything about web (their browser) - cause I'm still using Firefox.
I think it is always hard, but sometimes open source projects have to make a cut to take a step in the right direction (and yes - some of the configuration stuff is hidden in Gnome3 and this really sucks). There are rough edges - but I think it's bold and good that they've made this step.
I don't know - the longer GNOME 3 is around, the more people like it.
Sure they've lost some people ("I can't install compiz fusion any more") - but in the last 6 month I'm reading lots of "it's fine - first it was a big change, but now I really like it".
I like GNOME3 and would never want back to GNOME2. But everyone his own's.
I think this is one of the few perks not beeing a English native speaker: I do understand lyrics if I concentrate but otherwise I hear the voice just as another instrument.
So I can listen to nearly any music for progrmaming. One of my favourites is Origin - Antithesis. But really everything works.
sorry if I am barking up the wrong tree.. but do you think it will be beautiful with all the breakout cables ?
For me this whole thing looks like a blast from the past - my trusty C64 with everything outside the box (and there were some articles in the 64er magazine [german magazine] which showed how to build everything into a single case for the neat, "integrated" look)
Funny - I thought this was a really interesting article - but I couldn't stand all these annotations.
And when I was selecting text (what i do mindlessly when I am reading an article) all the hell broke loose and it tried to load something.
Very annoying when I want to concentrate on the technical details. So we'll see once again - everyone's different.

I am just lurking around on Twitter and Facebook (no user for both of them).
Twitter works fine for me (e.g. when Peter King has written Monday Morning Quarterback the link is up on Twitter), but Facebook is very hard if you are not a user and want to know how a band sounds like. I've used Myspace for this before, but the new player and the fact, that most of the bands are nearly on Facebook exclusively, makes me use Facebook for this. Facebook really sucks for me.
