I would be very surprised if this happened. This would mean that European economies won't get their invested money back and also won't be able to pay for services. Extremely highly unlikely. Even if Europe replaces Russian LNG with American it will still be at least 3x-5x the current price.
I'm getting the exact same spam messages in my Inbox. Gmail has been working wonderfully for years, but lately something changed. I've also noticed marking messages from the same sender (confirmed by checking headers) as Spam doesn't move them to Spam, I keep receiving them to Inbox. It's intermittent, not sure what's going on but I can't rely on their filtering system like I used to.
This raises an issue of trolling. What prevents developers to generate "inappropriate" code to feed it to this algorithm the same way they did with the Microsoft Chat bot for example? That will surely reflect on the quality of code generated by this AI system and therefore the stability and security of applications built.
I would like to know this too. I understand that GitHub is a private company and you have to accept their T&C, but surely they aren't allowed to use source code found elsewhere on the internet to train their ML models without asking for permission first unless it's a B2B cooperation such as with Stackoverflow.
That's honestly not bad, I was expecting much worse. I've been subscribed to UK services that took weeks to cancel. Weeks of emailing, calling and frustration and to this day I doubt they really closed my account. Normally I wouldn't care, but when the account has a credit card attached to it that you can't remove and they refuse to do so, it's a concern.
From that point onwards I decided I won't subscribe to any service again that doesn't offer PayPal; at least that way I can control my credit cards and only have to worry about PayPal getting compromised as opposed to worrying about twenty different service providers. More so, I won't even purchase anything with a credit card directly if it isn't through a wrapper such as PayPal.
