It's like automatically charging my website visitors for my server costs because my site became more popular and using more resources. If Verizon doesn't want to upgrade - then they shouldn't. If they lose business because of it well, it's their damn fault.
I've tested content locking skins with hundreds of thousands of visitors per month and can tell you that design and colors matter. But a big part of it is matching the design to your user's mentality. If the website looks like garbage when its supposed to communicate professionalism, it doesn't matter what kind of small adjustments you make - the outcome will always be minor.

How could you possibly know why people run after money? It takes being dirt poor to know why having enough money is a goal to attain. This is the last post I want to read by someone who's never been in total despair and tries to reason about why people want money.
The least they could do is bring in someone who speaks fluent German and try to figure out what's going on. Treat the man with respect and explain to him that he needed a visa to do what he's doing. This is no excuse for how terribly he was treated。
Why the heck would you engrave anything in your bike? Just making it impossible for thieves to sell a stolen bike should be good enough... any seller should simply ask to see the registration information and make sure it matches with seller's ID. No need to engrave anything. As for the person who lost the bike, you're out of luck! Any smart thief would be able to disassemble your bike and sell it part by part if any single part were engraved to begin with.

I tried DuckDuckGo and was instantly turned off their website due to the terrible results they display. Not to mention that site looks like it was made by a programmer, not a designer i.e. unreadable.
It's called cookie stuffing. Your company should have done your research before doing affiliate marketing and taken steps to prevent this kind of fraud.
Amen. I knew of affiliate managers and their employers (CEOs of companies) who knowingly allowed certain types of activities for high-rollers and openly condemned it for the rest. Affiliate marketing is a shady industry where the only person who benefits is the scumbag who started his own program and succeeded at attracting a few large blackhatters to promote some offers. I've been on both sides of that fence as a publisher and an advertiser. ( I guess I should mention that advertising pays quite well and takes far less work once everything is set up ie. coreg)
I have the exact same experience. Coasted on FB viral apps for a while, some days making 10K+ then the crash. Felt shitty when I had to find a job again and do the 9-5.
