Agree. One reason that I use mandrill in the first place is because sendgrid sucks. And it will sucks to get back using them after mandrill kick all free users.
But now mailgun is a truly savior. I'm even willing to pay for their services rather than mandrill.
For a week, I'm trying mailgun. I'm surprised that it's working much more better that mandrill. I try this in a server that I rarely used, and somehow, mandrill have not been working for some times. When I change postfix to send using mailgun, all mail queue sent without problems.
It's even seems faster than when I'm still using mandrill.
Mailgun inbound also works without need any apps. Just use it to redirect to another email, and now I have a working temporary email address that can receive inbound mail.
Thank you mandrill, to open my eyes that there are mailgun that doing it's job much better than yours.
