You can stretch graphs and smudge data to match up with pretty much anything else, and it can seem convincing, but the future will probably not match up. Him picking important dates in history and doing ecactly this is funny.

"do not track" is just that

But everyone ignored it and it just provided additional entropy for identifying you!

This is just giving normal people something nice. Everyone already has their text editor of choice. I do like the completely plain text editing of notepad but oh well. I wonder what the saved formats are though by default, rich text is annoying.

Cool but they should focus on getting these things into people's homes, before it dies the inevitable Google death like everthing else.

Isn't cloudflare, in part, supposed to stop scraping?

Why am I having to do captchas and 'hold to verify', otherwise?

This is just a wishywashy middle finger to everyone not getting kickbacks, everyone else they just allow their site to be scraped, and everyone human that is still inundated with captcha crap.

So much of the web is essentially broken because of cloudflare for cool small scale scraping ptojects. Hopefully they allow small projects acess to this, and it os not just for big ai garbage.

Diodes, transistors, and powering the circuit would be really hard to figure out

You don't need grok for that!

Just scrape the posting activity of specific accounts, and find a way to weed out automated posts to get actual activity. Then scrape the uptimes of Iranian (or other country; to detect when their internet goes down) websites and see if there is any correlation between downtimes and posting dips.

More practical to insulate and just paint your siding and roof white than replace your already existing/working AC. Immediate cooling benefits and no loan hanging over you for X years. Most people have not budgeted or saved for any infrastructure improvements though, so either is a hard sell.

Right, passkeys seems like what everything is going to shift to, and is more what I meant.

I like passwords, I hope this passwordless shift is a bad dream. I don't like it being tied up with hardware crypto. At least it supports totp still I guess.

Reddit had a deal to sell user data for ai training last year? And it doesn't really matter since it's getting scraped regardless.

Those actively studying the inner workings of China and the CCP would not be surprised if he is. But it seems the most likely outcome is Xi will be stripped of duties and remain symbolically representing the party nationally and the country internationally, until a stable transition for his successor occurs. This saves face for everyone.

>If you have a game, website or mobile app that involves player to player chat, or a website or mobile app (inc. web/mobile games) that includes any kind of purchasing, you need to be aware of and compliant with EAA – though micro-enterprises (small headcount, small turnover/balance) are exempt.

Seems like indie devs would be fine?

Also for the other one, what does it mean to specifically target the European audience? There are so many itch.io games and throwaway garbage, none of them have a safety rep...

A black box capable of responding to your prompts will always be magical. It doesn't matter of it can't solve a multistep puzzle. It does enough already!

But I would very much like a new paradigm to emerge that doesn't require expensive graphics cards and vram, for it to simply operate more efficiently.

I can see "vibe-coding" on smartphones taking off, particularly for mobile and web dev. For new younger people.

Impossible to replicate the experience of a desktop, anyone that is accustomed to that... probably no.

I like the time based passcode thing... why is there a need for anything else, really?

And no one can actually drink raw milk fresh from the udder either? Enough contamination must occur for the enzymes to be produced for regular people to be able to drink it, I thought.

This is just measuring the speed at which chrome superficially is finished rendering and displaying content?

Actual cpu/memory performance of a given task, or some real world measure of a program's speed, efficiency, reactiveness, etc isn't indicated... I would be more interested in a Bloatscore metric!
