This is what #meetoo has come to. The genders being afraid of each other. Thanks, social media. Social media just removes any and all possibilities of nuance and makes people angry
I don't understand why people are surprised by this...Twitter has an ideological bent, as Jack Dorsey said himself multiple times on his YouTube tour. Apart from that, the transgender debate has been politicized to the point where you can not discuss the topic openly.
Programming rust on the Pi is a whole lot easier than "pure" embedded.
There are libraries for linux PWM, GPIO, SPI etc in Rust, so it shouldn't be a problem to hook up some sensors. I in fact just wrote a little driver for the MPU6050 that I'm using with my Pi, it was a breeze.
Nevertheless, get used to Rust first! Start with the book, it's great
Do you have proof that this woman is targeted, because she is a woman? People get harassed all the time, though VERY rarely in the scope of things. I don't condone it. Still, it is rare and hits both genders roughly equally.
I fundamentally disagree with Mozillas notion of "openness". The internet always was open to LGBTQI+ people. The internet does not discriminate. Get an account named X. Done.
Problems only arise when professional activists try to change existing communities. E.g. the new linux kernel code of conduct and it's, let's say "questionable", author.
