At this point, Valve has yet to disappoint me. Even their failures, like the Steam Controller, were amazing pieces of tech. The Steam Deck is no exception. It's exactly what I've been wanting: a SFFPC that doubles as a portable gaming console with Linux natively installed. Bravo Steam!

Download your website, engrave it on a quartz crystal[0], and hope your progeny have something to read the data from. If you want something that will last ~30 years, then tape and tape drives are a good way to go.

When it comes to web hosting, archive.org maybe? Who knows if they'll exist in 500 years. But in terms of publically accessible webpages from generations past, they seem reliable to me.

I hear you, but being able to read books on my phone is a game changer for me. I wasn't able to do that with my old 5" phone. Also, along the same line, not straining my eyes to read a text or work email is pretty great too.
