The Gall–Peters projection is a rectangular map projection that maps all areas such that they have the correct sizes relative to each other. Like any equal-area projection, it achieves this goal by distorting most shapes.
This sounds like a great idea, but could it truly get implemented with all of the stifling HIPAA laws? Just being on the cloud seemed to be a red flag and no one has or probably ever will build a system that can't be hacked. But, if I was an old fart living somewhere like a nursing home, it would be a good idea to have my medical history ready so that when I crap my pants no one gives me the wrong drugs.
The language issue will be big hurdle. French is spoken in many countries but not as widely as English. That means a smaller pool of potential applicants.
This looks like a good quick way to convey some ideas I had for my team lead the other day. I always find myself trying to use a lot of hand motions, and for this level of abstraction it really doesn't get much across.
They are already using version 8. The post seems to be outdated. Version 8 was released in early March (approx. 1 month ago). The new GUI is the way better than the previous one.
