They didn't mention the cost of this. Assuming mythos was somewhat involved I'd extrapolate this as: 128 x20 max accounts needed which comes at $25.6k or over 75k in api costs. For 75k you can hire a team of engineers that would produce a better result with sematic conversion and other tricks used in porting from language A to language B at the cost of maybe taking 1 month instead of 10 days.
I will be a lot more excited when this is possible with <10k of api costs.
I think this would be a lot more fun if there were different "starting" charasteristics.
High starting money, but low tolerance for burnout.
Poverty, but extremely high tolerance for burnout.
Can't find a job debuff.
Low skill, grifter, false promises, lie to win. (Rolling chance to end up in prison).
High skill start, low tolerance for burnout.
ADHD debuff.
Picking the opposite option of what you want debuff.
You can get fable-ish performance with gpt 5.5 watching over opus output. Although it fundementally cannot work as well because gpt 5.5 doesn't see the thinking process behind opus 4.8 unlike fable which presumeably self-steers and is natively trained for it.
See more: https://omp.sh - turn on advisor and set advisor role to gpt 5.5 xhigh thinking.
I think this all came from trying to enforce rules on people that shit talk on the internet which is especially pointless now cause you may be trying to enforce law on a random AI agent.
The more people become criminals the harder it becomes to enforce the law. This is especially ironic because criminals that genuinely matter and cause wide-scale harm won't even be impacted by this.
Anything other than cars I believe google maps/waze is nearly unuseable for navigation, yah. I think they even removed "bike" pathing too. Public transport is pretty alright, but very inaccurate vs local app when they use the same data and routing is lacking intelligence sometimes.
We give banks centralized control in exchange for stability and protection. Why are they incapable of rolling back financial fraud like this? If the argument is "it crosses dozens of accounts", the counterargument is that you burn dozens of accounts each transaction.
I think AI is just exposing the incompetency and complacency that has existed for a long time and very smart people should have already come up with a solution to it. This will be especially proven true if there IS a solution in a couple of years (or ideally months).
the problem is that you need a compiler capable of compiling said zig, python, rust. LLVM does that, you can compile something as untyped as javascript(with a lot of hacks) or as strict as rust.
Networking turned from a suggestion into being the only way of getting hired. I don't need a job, but I've gotten several emails from recommendations and I didn't have any 3 years ago or so, maybe an odd one here and there.
I think getting scouted is also one of the better ways of getting hired by having an active github profile with at least one popular open-source project even if it is AI slop.
"retired" at 25-30 is also pretty common, or at minimum self employed and fully sustainable while putting in only 10-20 hours a week usually for 2-3 days a week.
hollywood doesn't have to worry about state sponsored actors and hollywood does infact still leak movies early, but usually in some unfinished form with a bunch of directors text, missing vfx, etc.
