My employer is pushing us all hard on tokenmaxing. I think it’s absolut bs I use ai everyday but to not take a look at the leaderboard as I believe it’s a bs incentive. However my manager actually asked me why I’m behind on token usage compared to my coworkers. It’s becoming a form of control…
Working on a project connected through multiple repos I have a project level MD file to explain each repo.
Then I let Claude create a hook it self that at the end of each conversation it starts a hook to add important stuff automatically to memory if relevant. That’s it…
For me sure I’ll get a summary of a book or some video but that’s more like let me find out if the whole thing is worth my time instead of replacing the medium. Everyone who has read a non fiction book once’s knows it’s not about what the summary alone can teach you.. it’s the story and the learning through pain and reflection
> While this doesn't include opex[2] and depreciation, if the deals continue for 18 months, xAI recoups all the capex they spent and still has many hundreds of MW of GPUs available. With the giant compute shortages likely to persist into the medium term, even older H100s are likely to be extremely useful even 18 months out.
When a blog like this goes completely black or white on a topic I get skeptical. Nothing in life is 0 or 1. So is AI. Has some good to it and some obvious issues. All not that big of a deal. Ppl try to position themselves on the edges bc that’s what’s polarizes and engages conversation…
That’s fun. I also love QR codes so I created https://qr-mailbox.com it gives u a we based inbox which just a unique string that lets you receive messages. I thought since Covid qrs have become a thing and ppl know how to scan and message
i dont get it, watched the video seeing the "power" of using multiple branches at the same workdirectory etc. all i was thinking was ok they want to make it easy for coding agents work with multiple branches / feautres at once... Just that works already pretty well with git and worktrees... and agent uses the tools anyway... dont know what they want to build with 17M
Love this. I run also all my stuff by myself and I’m not an infra expert by all means just know enough to self host my app and services. I also built an remote monitoring agent using Go and rails I call it https://bareagent.io which monitors servers, docker containers and sends notifications when in any of those containers an error occurres as it is attached to the container logs
