I don't think he cares about the money at all. From the start, Mark was always interested in building a cool product. It's a great gesture on his part.
I used to play Pinball at school whenever I was in the Computer Lab. I also spent the bulk of my time in the computer lab at recess. Brings back old memories.
Awesome! I haven't played around with NoSQL databases and I always wondered how you would query one. Definitely peaked my interest in the whole movement.
The Django documentation page is fantastic. Also, djangobook.com is an awesome site to visit. One of the best tutorials I've ever read. I was building a prototype site with Python and Django at work and I finished writing it in a week without any prior experience with the language or the framework.
Agree with this ordering. I would start tackling abstraction. Eventually, it will come naturally when you program. Encapsulation is also another important point.
I'm currently an intern. I get into the office at around 9am and I get home at 8PM. For the last 3 weeks, I've been working on a mobile web app(onevoteamericamobile.appspot.com) and I finished it over the weekend. Every night, I would get home at around 8PM, eat dinner and then program until 12PM. I wake up around 7AM and take a train to work. During my commute, I would research various technologies and come up with ideas for my pet projects. Its all in the planning my friend.
