I have met him and also saw him standing next to Donald Trump and at political rallies. It wasn't imagined by left wing billionaire.

I have also read his Twitter account where he is spreading his right wing politics, every single day.

Ah yes.. the threat to invade us... should be taken lightly. Right. We should fall in line, let them bully us, do nothing, keep sending our money there.

I'm sure that your dear leader would also take lightly any threat of invasion against the United States.

We are talking of entrepreneurship and new companies, what small business are required to do for returns/refunds in the US is definitely not ahead of Europe for consumer protection.

It's not word choice, you are just making the wrong argument.

> That’s totally unclear.

Lol, welcome to US foreign policy. Or US trade policy. Totally unclear, and it's a feature.

Yes, lack of stability and clarity is entirely why people are steering away from the US. Yes things can change again next week, it's not a good thing.

But it's not always massive, it's a good practice to see what the diff is and ensure there is no weird dependency (aka supply chain attack) showing up in there.

Threads is just another node that connects to ActivityPub, there is no "road" to enshittification.

Mastodon is independant, each instance manages itself, some are bad, some are good, you can even host your own, that's the power of decentralization.

I heard of it randomly few months ago, and for me and my wife it's been a game changer for using our phone on transit or in the car.

This... has... nothing to do... with how the 2 countries view guns or blasphemy laws (??).

This library worked well for a hundred of year, and then the US government decided they wanted to invade Canada, wage an economic war, and needed to protect their border at all cost in case an invasion of migrants would come from... that library.

We already have US threatening to invade for absolutely no reason while the American people stand by and keeps arguing about the scandal of the day, I think this argument has sailed for Canadians. The US is now a very unreliable business partner, nothing else.

We can get fucked on both sides but will do business with those that don't want to destroy our economy.

> It makes me wonder if Apple is really giving it up as news have claimed.

I don't think anyone serious has claimed that.

The error message on some site was "Store not found", this is definitely a serious outage that we had not seen before.

Read his takes on twitter, he's far from level headed and down to earth, he has definitely drank the right-wing billionaires kool aid and turned full on MAGA in January 2025.

Yep, as a former shopify seller, this read like someone who had no clue and no basis in reality. And yes i have a lot of criticisms of shopify, but for the most part on the product side you can do whatever you want if the payment platforms accept it, this is very different than amazon.

Even if you have your own stack for software, you still need someone for payments, and that's where it hits you. Shopify was letting Kanye sells nazi merch, they don't give a crap for most things unless it's trademark issues.

> since whoever you shipped with in

They used Royal Mail for shipping, on the way out Royal Mail are the ones handing it to the next country. In that case it seems to be a Royal Mail fuckup. It didn't touch the Finland carrier until it reached Finland.

I don’t think it’s the cli that was dumber, just the model it was using. They drastically reduced limits on their best model so that’s likely how you got stuck downgrading model and getting worse results.
jeromegv

Gemini cli was open source. Antigravity cli is not. Not at feature parity, missing many features and now we are forced to migrate away from Gemini cli before anti gravity cli is ready.
jeromegv
·vor 2 Monaten·discuss
The funny part is that Gemini-Cli is open-source, and now they are getting rid of it for Antigravity CLI.. which is not open-source. Fun.

> If we were a separate country, all that money would stay in Alberta.

Yes. But you’d have to pay for your own border, army, customs, etc, etc.

By that logic every single province could separate, become a country, and then what? Is that supposed to be more cost efficient? Would the economy and free market between each province better? Would Alberta oil be worth the same price without having pipelines going through every province?

And then, why not have Calgary separate from Alberta. After all money from Calgary pays for roads in Edmonton and smaller towns. Surely we don’t want money leaving Calgary, if Calgary was independent, Calgary could keep its own money and not have their money “siphoned out”.

Yep that’s one of the issues with Meshtastic and why it’s hard to scale it past a certain point. Meshcore has much higher hop limit
