Reddit has a very bad antisemitism problem. It's a cesspool.
By no means is reddit 'the model'. In practically any sub except the explicitly Jewish ones, I will find an avalanche of antisemitism on any post that touches on Judaism/Israel/Jews.
I second this. Michel Thomas french CD's are awesome. I don't like the other languages they offer as much, but the french lessons by Michel himself are the BEST language program I've ever heard.
I have had this great book for 10+ years, and still find it fascinating it's called "Prisoner's Dilemma: John von Neumann, Game Theory, and the Puzzle of the Bomb". I try to re-read it on occasion. It's half John von Neumann biography and half subject matter history.
