Looks like most/all manufacturing happens in the SEA/China, so I can see the logic that it could be considered a military risk for it to not be manufactured/possibility to scale manufacturing in America.

I have a friend who does not live that remote in Australia and his choice is either "satellite" internet or starlink.

It's not even a choice because "skymuster" (the satellite option) can't even be considered internet. I remember him taking about getting 7 seconds of latency at one point. It's actually impressive how terrible it is.

Actually op, can you clarify if you did this with the below setting on? There is a literal setting to stop this so I'm curious if this was created because of this report or if this is just negligence from the reporter to not add this as a comment.

> Responsible Disclosure GitLost was responsibly disclosed to GitHub. Vulnerability details are shared here with their knowledge.

Why does this section not have when it was fixed or GitHub acknowledge/rejected this?

Did they not fix this?

Unless they change it so there's no data training/retention for fable, I don't even understand what company is using API fable.

It's more that they then go to the "low view" threshold then are no longer viewed and because the date is hard coded then it will never show any more.

I agree it's the point of the project but it's a bit of a shame someone could go to the site and see no art.

Cool project, it's actually a shame if it gets popular enough then it won't return anything

Neat tool! Will have to check it out

Edit: would love a couple of pictures/video of how you use it. I kind of get the idea, but it seems like more hassle then it would be worth?

Your comment of codex makes it seem like I might be missing something tho.

We had a security report for a oauth vuln and it was the worst thing I have ever read, the whole thing is like spaghetti that "just works" until it doesn't because you feed it something similar.

Never want to touch oauth, it's a fucked spec.

My bet is that he was reprimanded for this and then didn't back down, hes even in the comments here now arguing about it

Imo codex is significantly better then Claude code for me ATM.

This is actually such a classic blunder (shipping trace/debug logging on for everything), but funnily the impact is not in a normal way.

It's crazy we have hit a point where memory, CPU speed and disk speed isn't getting clapped because a Dev shipped logging at trace level instead of what used to the application being catastrophically slow so its immediately fixed in the next update.

Ugh this one's gets me so bad, same with "wire" and "wired" everything is wired to something.

I hate to be that guy, but real privacy policy on training data/it being hosted somewhere where I'm not worried about secrets being stored/leaked.

Great article,

My only, I guess feedback, is that it's not really clear about the price.

Would the 21.92 be the API pricing I guess?

Cost $5.39 (real billed) ~$21.92 (estimate, list pricing)
