Transgender people are rare so the number of murdered transgendered is small absolutely but high relatively. Indeed some might say their numbers are negligible but if one is a member of that group such statistics can be alarming.
Evaluating statistics is something that every minority group must deal with in their personal lives and when they turn outward to other groups. The better-educated we all are in statistics the more comfortable we will be knowing that sometimes, for whatever reasons, one or another news outlet, politician or political figurehead will use statistics to bend the truth and scare the bejeezus out of us.

"Shoot on sight" has been the *de facto* standing order for most borders. It should be revived again because it will be necessary (e.g., Hungary, southern USA, etc.). No war is required.
