The new C# unions are not reference-only. The attribute/interface allows implementing custom union types by writing `TryGetValue`-methods instead of a single `object? Value {get;}`. The compiler handles this transparently.

Seems to be "native" as in "not a web-browser/view".

Err, the website footer takes up the entire lower half of the viewport/screen, on mobile.

I've been tinkering with computers for 20 years now, working for the last 9, building a variety of side-projects & prototypes; most recently a binary data-format using gradual typing and writing a wiki focused on voxels. My focus lies mostly around compilers/DSLs, graphics and web-technology.

The current job/contract of creating an "Welding-Assembly Process-Tracking, Reconstruction and Reporting"-System (using C#/Typescript/PostgreSQL) is nearing completion (~1.5 months), so I'm looking for new/interesting opportunities... excluding AI/LLM related things.

That this is a plausible explanation is... beyond horrifying to me.

My current job/contract is nearing completion (~3 months), so I'm looking for something new-ish.

Maybe you could use unifont glyphs (drawn as SVGs?) as fallback?

Nah, [BetterFox](https://github.com/yokoffing/Betterfox) still works fine

On the surface level, building/compiling/running, maybe... But properly integrating with a given platform (or hell, version of platform!) is a whole new world of pain. :(

Given that many tools are relatively small, I'd almost argue it wouldn't take more than 30min, ignoring testing.

Oh, sorry! Shouldn't have said "all" there... :'D

Wasn't all that bad PR mostly caused by the coal/oil industry, doing some serious astroturfing for a decade or so?
