Love the interior. Hate the exterior.

"if you're new to Linux, skip omarchy..." I've been using linux for 20+ years. I used to spend way too much time ricing my system when I was young. I don't have time for that now. I installed Omarchy, and I like it.

"... install a real distribution - not some guy's personal dotfiles." "the entire 'omarchy distribution' amounts to little more than Arch linux" Your own statements contradict each other.

Jerry has one of the worst cases of TDS (Tesla Derangement Syndrome). In his video he applies 10,000 lbs of downward force directly on the hitch point before it breaks, and then says that it "is far too close to the 11,000 pound towing capacity. Yikes." He's a smart guy, he knows downward pressure at the hitch point (tongue weight) is a much different rating than towing capacity. Tongue weight is usually estimated at 10-15% of towing capacity, so 1100-1650 lbs. The cybertruck clearly exceeded expectations here.

I was really into it in my early 20's. One way to tell if you are mentally in the state to lucid dream is if you no longer feel tired. One night, after a grueling hike, I was completely exhausted when I went to bed. I closed my eyes, and moments later all my exhaustion just vanished, and I began to explore the space.

This. I'm not a fan of expanding links, like when a user hovers over a small button with an icon, and it expands to reveal the full button name, but the content around it (like other buttons) shift because of the size change.

Yeah, super annoying when that happens. A workaround is to click the address bar (or press ctrl+l unless that's been hijacked too) and then do ctrl+f.

> There we had less than 10 people

In Iceland, 10 people is a huge crowd.

I always thought this was funny. We were taught this in grad school, but hardly anybody followed this guideline. "If there's too much text on the slide, the audience will be busy reading the slide, and not paying attention to you". I try to have just the main point on the slide, then I can talk around it. The details should be in the slide notes, if you need reminders.

"If parents consent [...] we collect [...] serial number and battery level [...] who called and call time and length [...] and Voicemails (messages and greetings)"

If you're going to get this product, make sure you pay attention when you set it up, and opt out if you are privacy minded.

I guess it all depends on the type of women you're trying to attract. I'm married and have kids, so old worn out logo t-shirts and cargo shorts sound nice and comfortable to me, in most everyday situations. I'll dress appropriate for the circumstance.

> The publisher is held hostage by incentives from an auction system that not only encourages but also rewards dark patterns.

lol, they're doing for the money. Not because they're "held hostage". More time on site means more money. They know this. They know it's a shitty experience. Look, I get it, they have to make money somehow, but some of these sites try to squeeze every last drop of money out of users. It's a fine line to walk between "I'll stay because this content is interesting" and "F this man, I'm leaving", and some push that line hard.
