I was curious about this too, http://yclist.com/ was able to answer some of my question. Go through the list, research a bit and do let us know if you find anything interesting :D
In that case I would also like to hear your opinions about stock market :D, in all seriousness there are people and companies who are trying to tackle some of the problems you mentioned and getting funded. Look on the positive side, tools and research by these guys can be used in education and medicine!
I understand most of focus in on the entertainment market but we can't blame particular set of people for that happening, magic leap is essentially promising something we have been looking forward to from so many years(since we saw stuff in sci-fi movies)!
I have read about this in the past, to qualify for H1B you can add number of years in college(max. 3 in case of drop out) + years of experience in the related work(job you are applying for).
3 years of work experience constitutes to 1 year of college degree. Hope this helps
You might want to look out for meetups or something similar where you find potential technical co-founder. Check if any of your high school friends (basically people you know could be a good fit, teamwise) work in tech.
In all seriousness this could be quite important, I have been avoiding relationships all my life due to heavy workload in school. Seems like patterns gonna continue considering I plan to work more :|
Interesting discussion in comments below the article about if this will open sourced at some point in future. If I understand it correctly MS is not under any obligation of open sourcing this which pisses me off considering how Bill Gates was against the whole open source concept(wrote many letters supporting his argument).
I sent you guys application last month, I didn't get any kind of reply. You should mention that you will only reply to candidates you are interested in.
Nice idea!, While authenticating with linkedin https://brandme.io/oauth/cancel results in something went wrong error, I think it should redirect to proper page where one can try to authenticate again in case someone accidentally clicked on cancel instead of allow access.
