You may want to start with "The little book of semaphores" before delving into the concurrency models of a language. I have not found a more approachable text for understanding/solving synchronization problems.
> Why don not zoho encourage startup ?
Assuming you ask why they don't employees to? Why should they? They are a business.
> Why do zoho employee salary is lower than others who works in same kind of product startup ( Chargebee, freshdesk, etc startup ) ?
Why zoho did not give share to early employees who helped zoho to raise billion dollar company ? or did zoho raised to billion dollar company in single handle ah ?
Probably it works for their business model. As far as I know, they are a private firm and have stated their intent to remain one. Hence no equity.
> If zoho don not have value degree then why do have package variation based on colleges (NIT, IIT, sastra)
May be Zoho has observed a pattern in candidates from institutes being successful, and want to have a more attractive offers to attract these folks.
> Why do people leave zoho and Can you reveal the recent attrition rate ?
No idea, but perhaps the reasons are not too unusual - Better pay, quality of work, growth, impact, bored ...
> Why do zoho new product development is very slow, why they don't develop product like startup product.
Too generic a question. Why do you think its slow? What do you think needs to be done to churn out products faster? And why does it need to be faster?
Remember, in the end of the day, your renumeration is dependent on how "irreplaceable" you are to the company, irrespective of your background. Know your worth and negotiate respectfully. If this doesn't work, you can always leave and find another job that you may find fulfilling.
You are part of the organization. Use appropriate channels to let higher management know what needs to improve. If nothing improves, and if corrections are beyond your scope of duties, leave. There is no stopping you ;)
I work for a large enterprise security company. I work 1 or sometimes 2 days a week from home. I spend about 6 hours in the office, usually from 10-4. My commute is really long, close to 2 hours one way, so I got my company to reimburse for a verizon jetpack, so that I can work during the commute. Apart from the window of time I spend at work, I work the remaining hours when I am in the right mindset. Sometimes, this is early in the morning, or late in the evening.
