Hi I've been working on a drag and drop web builder for developers. Think of it like a version of Webflow that can sync directly with your code. You can try it at https://dragondrop.app/. It's still currently very much a work in progress. Let me know what you think.

Love it! This is a brilliant example of how removing choice actually make the product so much better. If this was an app on a Apple TV I would actually use it

> This is what's behind the paradox where a good dev working alone or maybe with one very like minded person can produce a level of productivity you can't match again as you add developers, till you have way more developers. The dip represents the loss due to having to communicate a common understanding of the codebase, that doesn't get adequately compensated for till you've added a lot more people.

Wow I couldn't agree more with this point. You put it perfectly. I worked alone and later with one other developer on a project and it felt way more productive than my current team of 5 developers!

Despite your negative tone, I think you have a point. There are many project like this. I'm working on another one at the moment and I have compiled a long list of similar projects. There is definitely a need for a tool that can create UIs visually. IMO such a tool needs to have interoperability with code, as in changes to the code reflect in the tool and changes in the tool make reflect back in the code.

We haven't succeeded in creating an intuitive and robust enough tool that accomplishes this, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible. It's a technical challenge which can be overcome.

I have come across this before, searching for a particular problem but not finding the relevant Github issue in google's search results, which made me search using Github's own search functionality inside the relevant repo to find what I'm looking for. I'm not sure why google wouldn't be indexing Github issues though

One of my favorites articles ever, finally found something that expresses why java is such a boring and inadequate tool for tackling most problems

> It's "Node.js" with a dot. If you spell it "nodejs", that's a serious red flag and you shouldn't be surprised if it gets you automatically discarded -- even by a human reviewer.

Best example of someone I wouldn't want to work for ever
