I mean, if one doesn't want to use an app that solves their problem just because they think the guy might be advertising it like that... I don't know what to say.
No offense, but this largely reads to me like "I don't wanna use Linux because I wanna use Mac". If you want to move to a different system, you can't expect to get the same thing. Really, the only complaints I can agree with now are 2 and 3, the rest is just invalid. You've got kdeconnect gsconnect nextcloud keepassxc many, many configurable mail clients, especially the beatiful, integrated kmail and their whole PIM suite, Okular has all three features you mentioned. You just have to put in a bit of work, it's a DIY system after all.
This so much. They'll ban you forever for a brain fart without blinking once. Unfortunate how many of these subs are frequented by actual professionals you can learn much from.
Some three years back they used someone's identity to promote their browser. The guy in question is the one beitish person who used to make videos for Computerphile, forgot his name, sorry. The BAT is worthless and I don't believe it's a healthy incentive for anything but that's just my opinion (it is better than the alternative though, that's for sure). Other than that it's a fine browser but it seems conflicted when you look at its apparent goals.
Don't know what you meant when you divided "people" into those two categories, but it's either truism or irrelevant.
Google is just a name, the point is it has a lot of power and even if a lot of people are "good" that doesn't mean they won't change, fuck up or be replaced at some point with a team that is less ethical. It's like it is with nukes. No one should have a weapon capable of such destruction.
The drug that kills tens of thousands of people who don't know any better and choke on their vomit because nobody told them to lay on their side. People who overdose because they got dope laced with fent. People who overdosed because they didn't know how much h they got. People who got addicted, because the safest option was to shoot. Surely controlled selling of the substance wouldn't fix any of these problems.
Not him but I don't feel the need to have a subscription. I could subscribe to one service, but it has an alternative superior to it which is mostly free.
