What is this negative shit being peddled by institutions to divide us. It doesnt take more than half a brain to know that men wont like the word ”toxic masculinity” whereas women won’t care as much. If the word was ”toxic femininity” the polls would be reversed.

Is the article just propaganda for this diet the researcher suggests? I mean from a mainstream perspective it sounds healthy and probably better than 95% of Americans. But the demonization of red meat and saturated fat seem totally unjustified.

Meh he’s such a quack. Followed his advice and it took a while but I got sick beyond comprehension. Later I found out he’s always talking about 1 out of a 1000 compounds in every plant and for example if that one compound seems to be doing good, let’s ignore the 999 other ones.

It’s not even good for the planet. Veggies don’t even grow up here in the northern hemisphere for half of the year so everything is imported.

If you wanna follow anybody follow Bryan Johnson. He takes over 100 supplements and I figure that’s probably what it takes if you wanna live off plants.

At some point an animal is different enough to be called a new species. Android passed that threshold on release day.

But if you still somehow think so. Why not install some deb files, open up that native terminal and install steam.

To be real, it’s a very viable yet uncommon (choice). Because those people don’t choose OS. They just buy a computer, and Linux is never on them.

Most people’s knowledge of tech barely rivals that of an inorganic object.

To have them switch OS is not even on the map. They are just happy they can find the camera app that takes pictures.

The days of Apple halting repairs are over. But they still have a few years to come up with something equally sinister.

Their ecosystem is built on lies too. All they do is put every function in an Apple only jail.

When both of those are gone, maybe they have to put their money on innovation.

I have two things to say.

Linux did not succeed (though Linux users might think so). Unless you think 1% market share is a win.

Secondly, open source means very little if it’s not paired with a GPL license. Please stop throwing the words Open Source around as if it means “free”.

All in all though, great article. I think we can apply this community for the greater good principle in many more areas of society (IRL).

I actively seek to buy products containing Palm oil. Why?

From my understanding. Saturated fats are highly stable and the other ones sold are not and therefore require more processing. In the end, and due to reasons too long to write here, I believe saturated fats are the healthiest alternative for use in packaged products.

We’re being funneled into eating these polyunsaturated fats that in their on the shelf state, have no resemblence to anything humans have eaten in the past.

It’s not like were homomodernus, were still homosapien and it’s gonna take millennia for the human race to adapt to these foods. Not 10 years because climate change told us so.
