From what I understand, my phone's 4G won't work with lineage os and either of the two cell providers that have reception in my area so it's basically unusable for me. I would like to use it but I effectively can't.

There are of course other delivery methods with different trade offs and generally less harmful but it seems to me as if smoking is still most common.

> A stoner would smoke half-a-joint and then easily eat a pound of processed meat, then send a whole bag of chips down the hatch, washing it down with two or three pints of beer, and twenty minutes later will be eating ice cream directly from the bucket.

I'd like to say that's a little bit of an exaggeration but I also feel like a joint and $25 for taco bell at 1am wouldn't help my case...

Not exactly what you asked for, but there's ambiguity in the spec leading to different implementations.

Compared to a low cost of living region, that's a pretty high cost of living.

> If someone said 'pure Linux' and it meant the core without loaded modules I wouldn't be shocked. Not sure how useful it would be, though.

That probably wouldn't be a useful distinction because almost every module can be built in

It may be fewer but it still doesn't feel good when cargo pulls in hundreds of deps for a seemingly simple application. But maybe it seems simple because of all the deps...

More information:

What I was recalling is the EPA's Engine Switching Fact Sheet from 1991.

https://www.epa.gov/sites/default/files/documents/engswitch_...

I learned today that it was replaced in 2020 by the EPA Tampering Policy. This one doesn't seem to focus so much on engine swaps but on the emissions devices themselves.
